Muhammad Nisar, Security Guard at Bab-e-Peshawar Station. He recently Joined BRT as a security guard. He is an Mphil in Political Science from Islamia College Peshawar and CSS aspirant who attempted Competative Examination twicely, but failed to secure passing marks in essay only.Nisar has alot of family burdens and responsibilities to meet daily expenses. He is diligent, and dutiful boy and feel proud to earn and feed his family by performing eight hours duty as a security guard. He is a resident of tehkal peshawar.Though he is consistent, dutiful, diligent to perform such tough duty as a security personal, but he also deserve a respectful and a white collar job in this society.Only nepostism, lack of merit and favouritism have discouraged such talented youth to think bigger and out of nutshell. I appreciate his effort and sense of responsibility he has for his family-care but only appreciation is not enough, atleast he must be appreciated through an opportunity in any esteem organization.

PESHAWAR: Senior members of the Afghan Taliban said they recently sent delegations to some regional countries to address their apprehensions about foreign militant factions in Afghanistan. They said they assured the regional countries that the Taliban would not allow foreign fighters to use their soil against any country.

According to Taliban sources, their top leadership had given a task to the Qatar-based political office headed by Sheikh Abdul Hakeem to immediately make contacts with some of the countries including China, Iran, Russia and some Central Asian republics to assure them that they would not support militants belonging to these counties or provide them any assistance to carry out militant activities in their respective states.
"Some of the countries, including Russia, China and Iran, had some reservations about their own militants presently hiding in Afghanistan. We have signed an agreement with the United States that we would not allow foreign militants to use our soil against any other country, particularly the US and its allies," a senior Taliban leader told The News.
Pleading anonymity, he said Taliban delegations visited Russia, Iran and some Central Asian countries and assured them that they should not worry about their security from Afghanistan when they came to power.
"The Chinese were particularly concerned about the Uyghur militants. We sent a letter to the Chinese embassy and explained to them that they should not worry about the Uyghur militants. Let me admit that we have militants from China, Russia, Iran, Central Asian, Arab world and Pakistan but these militants would not be allowed to continue their armed struggle against their respective countries in Afghanistan," he said.
The Taliban leader said they would not ask the foreign fighters to leave their country as they came to them as refugees, but would not let them exploit their hospitality and create issues for them.
According to the Taliban, they would not allow these foreign militant

By Farooq Khan

Born in Timergara, a town of District Dir Lower, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Saira in the initial days of her life, met with a tragedy of disability as a result of muscular dystrophy due to premature birth. She faced annual muscle surgeries from 1992 till 2011. Her life with wheelchair started in the year 2011 and this was where she challenged all those hurdles coming in her way, with the support of her late father Shams Ul Qamar, a former politician and honorable elder of the town who never let her daughter realized any disability.

Saira’s dream was to be a leader and motivator for the rest of the women and she never compromised over her dream, that is why she became the district counselor of her town and now keeping the role of Vice President women wing of Insaf Youth Wing, a youth group of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf.

Saira is the only writer in her family and she used to send poems to magazines and newspapers when she initially started writing. She added “I formally started writing after my father passed away which was indeed a painful chapter of my life”.

Saira looks forward to talk about the rights of persons with disabilities in the country which she believes is unavailable. She went through many challenges during her studies accessing the class rooms, exam halls because of no proper stairways for the persons with disabilities which is why she aims to raise her voice for such issues.

Saira suggests direct representation of the persons with disability in the decision-making platforms where they can directly represent and share their grievances.
Saira also focuses to empower the women of the area from where she belongs, a typical Pashtun society with many issues of women being accepted as leaders but she tries hard to access as many as she can to inspire them.

Answering to a question “Why women in this society are not empowered?” She said “Women are capable of doing every single work but she n

The US Attorney General said Tuesday the United States "stands ready" to try a militant convicted of murdering American journalist Daniel Pearl whose release was ordered by a Pakistani court.

The decision by Sindh High Court to release the accused comes months after it sparked outrage for overturning the murder conviction and death sentence of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, and acquitted three other men connected to the case.

The four are being held under the emergency orders of the local government while an ongoing appeal against their acquittals is heard in the Supreme Court, but defense lawyers argued against their continued detention in the south of the country.
