I’m not ready.
I’ve breathed those words for so long before
realizing I’ll never be.

…and that’s okay.

Because it’s all part of this story.

It’s a story of life,
in a bubble,
From the streets of Manhattan
to a small province in the southern part of the Philippines,
My search continues.
Searching for what exactly?
I’m not sure really.

Day 1’s are always full of uncertainty.
Except there exists that sliver of unsaid hope
that it’s right there just past your fingertips.

Whatever it is.

I can’t count how many Day 1’s I’ve reset back to,
All I know is that I can’t stop here.
In this ugly, beautiful world,
There must be a place where I want to be.
