In our first episode in 2025, we spoke to Kim, a Philadelphia-area mom who is navigating her life after the loss of her 3rd son, David.

Kim and her husband found out early in their pregnancy, that there was a high likelihood that their baby had Trisomy 13, and it was later confirmed after an amniocentesis.

Our children are not shameful. They are beautiful, real people. In my opinion, the only shame comes from the perception that they should hidden away. I will never stop sharing photos of my deceased child, simply because he IS my child.

Wave of Light is an annual event dedicated to honoring and remembering babies lost during pregnancy, childbirth, or infancy. Participants worldwide light candles to create a wave of light, symbolizing love, support, and remembrance for these precious lives. The Wave of Light provides an opportunity to offer comfort, raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss, and address the often unspoken emotions surrounding this deeply personal experience.

We invite you to join families across the globe today, October 15th at 7 PM local time, by lighting a candle and keeping it burning for at least one hour in memory of all babies who left us too soon.
