Ashanni Smith referred to also as Shan Don is a Multi-talented individual, reason being he is a Producer, Artiste, Beat composer, video editor and Song Writer his musically inspiration began from Dancehall and Reggae. He listens to both current and previous works from various genres of music. Born on the 9th of April 1993, this optimistic soul originated in a small community called Paisley in the
parish of Clarendon, Jamaica. For his primary education he attended the St. Thomas Moore Preparatory School, then further moved on to the Clarendon College where he developed an interest in music and began going to music studios and conducting school clashes. His focus also led him to the Portmore Community College where he finalized his Associate Degree in Business Studies then he completed his BSc in Business Administration at the University of technology, Jamaica. His hobbies are writing, reading and recording music, playing football and surfing the web. Ashanni’s role models include Junior Gong, Bob Marley, Mavado, Vybz Kartel, Sizzla, Buju Bantan, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man and Congo I. Currently Ashanni works with Zion Yard Family,Hr3 Productions and his own Media/Music label No Folly Entertainment. His most recent releases are Christopher Martin – Come yah nuh , Innovata – Do anything yuh want and Congo I stress free EP that are currently circulating on the air waves and across the internet. He is currently working on the Intervention Riddim, Future 90’s Dancehall riddim and his EP that will be released in June or late summer. No Folly Entertainment is currently working with young artiste such as, Shabba Duwaley , Ikatik and Fyah Paps; young talented artistes who have an aim to be prominent in the dancehall and reggae industry, across the geographical borders and aim to ink in people's minds across the world. Some of the many accomplishments thus far are CEA local Producer, articles, features and interviews. Ashanni is on the rise and he is not turning back as he aims to be one of the top names in the music industry.
