I've been fortunate to be given many accolades and titles in my lifetime but nothing can and will ever compare or compete to being awarded the prestigious role of being your mother.

To my SonShine, thank you for lighting up my life and those you come into contact with.
You continue to teach me so much about myself and the world and for that and so much more, I'm grateful.
My prayer is that God continues to give me the grace, knowledge, wisdom and understanding to aid in pushing you into fulfilling your Destiny in the earth.

TAKE THEM TO CHURCH

Take them to church.
They might be loud, they might be silly, they might get restless
But take them to church
You may get nervous they’re being disruptive or distracting
You may think everyone’s watching as they pace the floor, as they talk much louder than the rest, as they crawl from chair to chair
But take them to church
They might be listening, they might be seeing the praises, they might be seeing just what it means to give God the glory
Take them to church
They may be learning how to be quiet, they may be learning how to sit still, they may be learning how to react to the sermon
Take them to church
The way they light up when they learn their name is in the Bible, when they hear familiar stories, the way they laugh when everyone else does (even though they have no idea why)
Take them to church
You might end up having to walk around, or end up in the nursery
But take them to church
They’ll get the hang of it, they’ll start to understand.
Just take them to church
I promise their laughter, those loud words, those tiny feet stomps aren’t distracting or disruptive.
They are the sounds of a generation continuing the church, the generation that will one day lead our church, the generation we need.
Just take them to church.

Learning how to gift myself with a present called GRACE and you should too.

It's okay not to be okay...everyday.
It's okay if you're not where you "think" you should be in life...God knows and He's got it all in control.
It's okay if you don't "feel" beautiful today. It's a mere feeling that won't last.
It's okay to set/enforce boundaries. You're not the victim for doing that.
It's okay to say no to anything that does not healthily feed your soul and aligns you to your purpose.
It's okay if you have not yet figured out your purpose. Connect to your Source, your Manufacturer, your Creator and He will reveal same to you.

I firmly believe that Institutions such as The GWG can significantly enhance the Guyanese Literary landscape.

As the citizens shed tears of poverty
Consumed by agony
The citizens' patrimony
Clutched in the oiled hands of colonizers anew
