Pretty spot on comparison between Zwift and Rouvy. The one thing that’s currently incorrect is that you can’t just upload any route to Rouvy for riding. That was a feature but in the 6 years of development, they’ve now got some really good video routes and want to expand on that quality. As such only certain pre approved video creators can film and upload routes.

I’m celebrating completing the Tour de Nuun Stage 2 with today’s climb of Col de Aspin and Mont Saint Michel, and now getting ready for stage 3. Chains are freshly waxed, Saska”Nuun”s picked and pie made. No 🐻 sighting but an Oriole did come by to see what was happening. Time to work on my Garmin Disney Steps 10 day 10,000 step goal challenge.

put on a great race today with the Good, the Bad, and the Blackstrap. Thank you to the organizers, officials, and volunteers. Lots of riders came out with crew , Brian Z, Ken G, across the men’s 50 & 100 and the women’s 💯. At time of posting I can confirm Luca V 🥇 Mike G 🥈 and Myself 🥉 in the Men’s 💯.

and put on a great event with the this solstice weekend won the generously donated early registration draw prize of a set of XT brakes. The volunteers and organizers and SCA made for a great day and the fellow racers pushed each other and themselves on this hot day. After battling back and forth with Ryan Derksen, I was fortunate to stand on the podium with the trail ninja himself and the lightning fast Milton Cruz.

5th annual Dirty Turtle Gravel Grinder did not disappoint with scenery, challenge, and loads of great volunteers and riders to push and cheer on along the way. Another great event by Turtle Mountain Trails Association. Thanks Bottineau and area North Dakota!

This past weekend myself Blair Drader and Ian Loughran of HPL Cycling took part in the River Ridge Trails xc Sask Cup MTB race. It was a great trail route with lots of features including wooden wall ride, tabletop jumps, bridges, climbs, twisting singletrack, drops, you name it. River Ridge Trails never disappoints and Sunday was no exception. Great volunteers, prizes were sponsored by Ryan Derksen at Ens Toyota and Atlas Outdoors Cycle and Recreation with Shiraz Kabob providing excellent wraps for lunch afterwards. Ian’s daughter finished up first in her group, Ian put on a good ride on a hot and dusty day and yours truly ended up in 3rd just behind Oleg and Milton. Hydration needs provided by Nuun Hydration with Pactimo providing the sun protection with their awesome sun sleeves. Garmin providing the stats, map, and keeping track of all the data. Next race action is the 5th Annual Dirty Turtle Gravel Grinder in Bottineau North Dakota this weekend.

Frosty’s ☃️ is postponed for one week due to Alberta Clipper coming in with 10-15 cm of snow and 50 km/h winds forecast for the day of the event. Scheduled for March 18.

with Rouvy’s Route of the Day! rode Riding Mountain National Park route today. This is a great route to ride on highway 10 through the park with rolling hills to accompany the scenic views and was recorded last summer by yours truly with Ed’s failsafe equipment setup. Best experienced with a smart trainer so it reacts to the changes in grade of the course
