Opinion Week : The news standard of kuensel and The Bhutanese is improving slowly and this shows the rightful exercise of freedom of speech, expression and thought.

Keep going, we need informers to inform community, what is happening and also fact checkers to keep trail of the things taking place around us. Infact we are making history, it's not that everyday is just as ordinary day.

Well, just compliment or addition note: A country requires vibrant and broad based economy diversified in its components, but Bhutan remains exception to this logic as witnessed over the years. I worry we may have to repay our debts with our ultimate freedom not very long, if our leaders don't take special interests in economic matter and situation of the country keenly.

Politicians participate in politics of every matters of men, and over the centuries the whole world has either lost the real meaning of politics or they just don't care whatever it may be, this clearly shows a presence of gap for redefinition and world revolution......tick tick tick i am counting every seconds of a minute, to hours, days, weeks, months, years, and so on.

Educate yourself with the right knowledge, in this 21st century getting knowledge has become so easy that you don't even have to attend colleges, and achieve greatness. Stay focus with full of passion and keep running in the direction you think is the best, you shall see greatness no matter what haunts your sail.

This year happily Bhutan has been ranked No. 1 country to visit for 2020 by Lonely Planet not for the no. of tourists we receive both regional and international, but for the sustainable tourism policy "High Value, Low Impact" and for being peaceful destination with less crowd. In this regards, we have to come to a fundamental discussion.

What do we really value in tourism industry? Does we get enough highs from regional tourists as compared to high paying international tourists? Moreover, in recent years Bhutan has been traded opposite to it's own founding tourism policy by the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB). Does the employees in the TCB really represents the heart and mind of whole mass? I say 'NO' because they slip over the policy making Bhutan as cheap destination where regional tourists come in mass and at times threatening the sanctity of the place.

Are regional tourists not important as compared to high paying international tourists? Of course they are important but in absence of proper guildlines and regulations, things are only going to get worst. Moreover, i am against the law allowing regional tourists to bring their own cars as if Bhutan is one of the states of India. No taxes for the regional tourist cars coming into Bhutan, while our own citizens bear the burdens of protecting the pristine environment that the whole world look to us and praise for country's visionary goals and achievements.

To be frank, even so called state broadcasting BBS and Kuensel doesn't even bother to speak against the terrible economic imperialism that Bhutan is enduring in decades. I believe being masked under government ownership, they suck and sip what the high power officials has to pour. Out of many, to my conscious mind only The Bhutanese speak our people's thought from bring the BEO- Japan cases to the toxic mass tourism our TCB and fire breathing Tour Agency are promoting.

It's enough, said enough! Something need to be done if not country's visionary tourism policy will fail in a matter of time.

" Promote Bhutan par tourism policy, not as a mass tourism destination", we don't want to be a trash box of tourism threatening culturally and spiritually.
