Evil Duck Productions got its start years ago as a group of friends constantly voiced a "what if" scenario that often contained dream-like qualities. "What if we made a movie...", "What if we wrote this script and...", "What if..." Eventually we realized that "What if" wasn't going to offer any sense of fulfillment, much less pay any bills, so we decided to actually do something, albeit separately
. One group started working on one script and another group entered Script-A-Thon and wound up writing a script in a month. When we realized we were all doing the same things, we decided to pool our talents. We are currently mostly focused on the script-writing aspect of the business, but are slowly working our way around to shooting and editing our own films as well. We plan on hosting a collection of shorts as we create them, plus full synopses of any scripts we have available on the market. Who knows, perhaps down the road a full length feature is in our future (say THAT five times fast!)
