God is never wrong for loving you the way He does. You may have a messy view of yourself, but God sees you in a glorious light. Who do you think is right? Surely, it’s not you. The first step towards becoming who God has called you to be is to believe, even when it seems contrary, what God has declared about you.

Love doesn’t look through the lens of flaws. That’s why the Bible says that while we were still dead in our trespasses, Christ died for us. God sees you through the lens of who He created you to be. You’re not an addict, a thief, or a mess—you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Religion often paints God as a stern figure with a pen, ready to record every mistake. But the Bible tells us that love keeps no record of wrongs and rejoices in the truth. God is love, and He is more interested in your alignment with His purpose, not keeping track of your errors.

This doesn’t mean wrongdoings don’t exist. However, if you cooperate with God—seeking Him, getting closer to Him, and receiving His grace—you will naturally find yourself transforming into who He created you to be.

Jesus was destined to die for our sins, but He also bore many stripes and bodily wounds that led to His death. The Bible tells us that through those stripes, we receive our healing. Sickness afflicts the body, but Christ has given us victory over it through His suffering.

The wages of sin is death, but in between, there is bodily afflictions. However, the same sacrifice that brings forgiveness also brings healing. That’s why Jesus said, “Which is easier to say: ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or, ‘You are made whole’?” If we observe Jesus closely, we see that He ministered healing and forgiveness as one. You shouldn’t be sick or agree to the use of your body by sickness.

Bodily affliction ran its full course on Jesus, and this is why God ensured He died through inflicted bodily pain rather than by Roman spears. His stripes had their full effect on Him, ultimately leading to His death so that no bodily defects or sickness would have no power over you. By His stripes, you have been healed. The same sacrifice and process that grants forgiveness also brings healing. Stand up and declare your victory over sickness.

We need to constantly be reminded that we are called to bear fruit as children of God. Jesus says one of the ways to recognize a person’s genuineness is by observing their fruit.

Within each of us, there is a natural voice and godly inclination that, if we listen to and follow it, will keep us from being unfruitful. When your mind urges you to act according to God’s will, it’s likely God speaking to you—heed it.

We are not called to look out only for our own interests. We are called to do good works. The Bible tells us that we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works. We must begin intentionally seeking to bear fruit by listening to the Holy Spirit within us and doing all we know to do as commanded by scriptures.

No matter what is happening in your life, there is one thing you should never lose: your joy. The joy of the Lord gives you the strength to rise and embrace all that God has in store for you; without it, you are in defeat mode.

Satan often uses people’s sins to steal their joy. While there should be a godly sorrow for sin that leads to repentance, the hope that God has promised—that you can rise above sin and measure up to the fullness of Christ—should fill you with joy and hope, even if you haven’t yet attained it. You can only overcome sin by refusing to drown in sorrow.

Unanswered prayers can also rob people of their joy, as it can be hard to understand why the Almighty God wouldn’t grant our desires. While we may not understand everything, one thing is sure: you won’t receive what you prayed for by being sorrowful. You can only obtain it with the right attitude of joy.

The Bible tells us to rejoice and give thanks always, for this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:16). I am aware of the pain and struggles, but remember to rejoice; God will soon wipe away all tears.

Death is not a state of being but the location of the soul. The common death we all know is the separation of the soul from the body, but actual death is a separation of the soul from God. That was why Jesus said that whoever lives and believes in Him will never die. He also said that whoever believes in Him has passed from death to life. John 11:25, John 5:24

God told Adam that he was going to die the day he ate the forbidden fruit, but when he ate it and died, the result was God asking him, “Where are you?” Jesus said somewhere, “Let the dead bury the dead.” Which means God doesn’t see everyone today as being alive. The separation of the soul from the body isn’t death but an inevitable progression for every human, but the actual death is separation from God.

However, we have the second death, which is a soul present in hell (Revelation 20:14). But you don’t have to experience any death at all if you believe in Jesus Christ. Please, don’t just live; making a stance that your children must know God isn’t going overboard. It’s trying to get them to have life. As Joshua says, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” Joshua 24:14.

Sin should lead us to run toward God, not away from Him. When we sin, God does not hand us over to Satan for punishment or withdraw us from our calling. Often, when people sin, Satan wages war against them, whispering that they have no right to defend themselves because of their wrongdoing.

Satan is a liar—the father of lies. While I do not condone sin, we must seek God’s help to live pure and holy lives and pursue holiness. Unfortunately, many people remove themselves from their calling, believing they are unworthy to serve because of their sins. However, it’s essential to remember that no one is ever worthy of God’s service; it’s grace that qualifies and sustains us.

Those who cover their sins without confessing are the ones in the wrong. If you confess and seek help, God will assist you. Our time here is limited, and our calling is to help others. If we allow Satan to use our sins to guilt-trip us into abandoning our assignments, we will suffer, and so will those who depend on our service.

Run to God, not away from Him. Stand up in faith for yourself when attacked; Satan is not God’s means of punishing His children.

If we want God to speak to us, we must pay the price of attention. God wouldn’t force His thoughts into our hearts; He reveals them whenever we intentionally give Him space. Today, we naturally reach for our phones when we have free time, but I recently felt a nudge to resist that urge and focus solely on God

When I did, I felt God reassuring me, making His words clear, and boosting my confidence in Him. Our days are often busy, and our free time should be spent focusing on God. The Word of the Lord reveals to us, “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You” (Isaiah 26:3). The reason many aren’t at peace today is because their heart isn’t stayed on God.

Instead of always reaching for your phone while waiting at the reception, eating, or relaxing, try allowing your heart to think about God and His things. He will speak to you in these moments.

The culture of “doing whatever makes you happy” isn’t godly. We are called to glorify God, and we will only be truly happy when we do so.

I’m not saying God is against our happiness, but the truth is, we are like children in God’s hands. When raising children, parents sometimes deprive them of certain things so that their future can be secure and they can live a truly happy life. In the same way, it is only by living to glorify God that we can experience true happiness, and it feels uncomfortable at times.

Another truth is that many of us don’t even know what will truly make us happy. A poor man might think he’ll be happy once he becomes rich, and a single man might believe he’ll find happiness in marriage—until he actually gets married. Life is beyond any of us, and our purpose is to glorify God. It is the one who loses their life in service to God who will find it, while the one who clings to it will lose it.

One reason why people, including children, may grow up and depart from the faith is when what they’ve been taught is based on religion or human philosophy. It is only when the foundation is the unshakable word of God that it can bring lasting and sustained transformation.

We live in an age where people ask questions, and answers are readily available. Human or religious philosophy won’t take anyone far; it will crumble over time. Only the unshaken word of God can bring us life and life in abundance.

If you want to raise godly children or disciples today, you must go beyond religion and philosophies yourself. We all need to be rooted in God’s truth and pass on undiluted truths. Some things may sound good when introduced into the gospel, but the gospel alone is sufficient and can transform people from the inside out. Build on the rock, which is Christ; all other ground is sinking sand.

There are things God will do, and some we have to do ourselves—not understanding this has been the leading cause of many people’s disappointment.

Many people are disappointed and falsely accuse God for things they believe should have turned out differently. But we need to understand that no matter what God gives us, our input is also required.

The psalmist talked about a man under God’s ultimate protection: “He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.” (Psalm 91:4 KJV). Even though this man dwells in such a secure place, he still needs his shield and buckler, which is God’s truth.

God often works in partnership with us. There’s always something, maybe simple, that we must do to thrive in God’s faithfulness and the fulfillment of His promises. Christianity can never be passively embraced but must be active. Know your responsibility and engage it.

Love has never been a mere confession; it is what we do. God loves us and gave us His Son. Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him and to feed His sheep if he did. God acts out His love for us, and that’s what is expected from us too.

The Bible informs us in 1 John 3:18, “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” In love, talk is cheap, action tells. God is our example: He loves us and gave us His best. If we love God, we are supposed to give Him our best.

The world is the way it is today because many don’t understand what love truly is. The Bible tells us that love overcomes all things. A lover empties himself to accommodate his beloved. Jesus left His glory and died for us, and He told us that there is no greater love than for a man to die for his friends.

If we truly love God, we will empty ourselves of self and embrace His calling. Jesus loves the Father and lives because of Him. If we love God, we will live because of Him.

Every sane person responds positively to love. Even God responds to love. Jesus told His disciples that if anyone loves Him, He and the Father will come to live inside of them. If we truly love God, He will manifest Himself to us.

Today’s piece is to let you know that God won’t overlook your love for Him. God is so big, but He isn’t immune to our love for Him. He always responds. Even though Jesus hadn’t yet ascended to the Father, He showed Himself to Mary because she loved Him so much and wouldn’t leave the graveyard.

Actually, God wants us to love Him. God is love, and He dwells where there is His love and love for Him. Let’s love God, and loving Him means doing His commands.

The fact that God is leading you on a journey doesn’t mean you won’t be discouraged or distressed, but the inevitable certainty is that you’ll emerge victorious.

We often think that if God is in our boat, we won’t face storms, but that’s not true. Storms will come, but if you hold fast to Him, you’ll be victorious. Moses asked God to lead, and God did, but Moses had many troubled situations. Jesus told us we will have many troubles but to be of good heart because He is with us and has overcome the world.

One thing we need to understand for many things to make sense as children of God is that this world isn’t our home. This world will wear out, and our King will appear in glory and give us rulership over the nations (Rev. 2:26). You’ll gain your victory here and in eternity. Hold the fort; don’t look back; the King is coming.
