Sunday Cool Rhythms the coolest hits from the past, present & future Ryan Rodis aka "PI" or "Private Ian" is a filipino radio personality, host, VJ, DJ and sports commentator.

He is the original host of Sunday Cool Rhythms & Stripped Down Rhythm (1995 - 2005) that airs on Y101 FM in Cebu, Philippines. Ian as known by his close friends has always been in love with music since the day he was born, his parents old vinyl record collection we're mostly damaged when he was growing up as he would put them on the floor and starts spinning them as if he was a Deejay. He started

collecting cassette tapes at age 9 and bought his 1st ever CD which happen to be "The Police - Greatest Hits" when he was age 12. In his time in High School, he would be seated at the back of his class and starts talking as if he was a DJ or sportscasting about the NBA or the PBA (a local basketball league in the Philippines). His close friends then dared him to become a radio DJ and apply in radio stations. When he graduated from high school, Ian started going to y101 FM by just hanging out. Then months after, he got his big break by doing the morning traffic report and was chosen to be one of the two new trainees to become a DJ. His love for music eventually got him the gig by becoming one of the youngest DJ's at age 16. After college, Ian took a break from radio and eventually work for their family business, having want to do it on his own he went to work for multi-national companies like TNT Express, HP and more but still the passion for music was there. During this time, he was part time VJing for a local TV station, did some sports commentating for a local basketball league and sometimes played music in bars/restaurants. By 2005, Ian opened up a lounge/restaurant together with 4 other partners and started playing music again this time in different clubs, bars and some out of town gigs. Unfortunately the business closed down, after that he decided and took a break in doing extra curricular activities and concentrate more on being a father. In 2011, he bump into a producer who is in the music and movie industry and asked him:

What do you love and miss doing most aside from being with your daughter? - he simply replied "playing & sharing music to people"

After a week of conceptualization, he eventually decided to produce his own podcast radio show "Cool Rhythms" which plays different kinds of music from the past, present & future ranging from all genres. As of today, he already released 4 episodes and looking forward to doing this every week. Future plans are to have special DJ's co-host the show including a live performance with different artists...
