Happy Diwali. Eat lots of mithai and spread sweetness and don’t add to the pollution. Shantanu, Rig and I have never been fond of the loud bursting crackers and more so because it scares the pets and the stray dogs. But we have got crackers but in the shape of chocolates( what else can u expect in a foodie’s house 🤪) and paper pops. The only exception this time is the addition of the diwali gun which I got for Rig as a reminder to my childhood diwali.

am sure you must be reminded of how you used to scare me with the diwali gun 😅. Tuk monot Pelli e kinisu. I was such a scared cow that I didn’t even try pulling the trigger. But this time I did while teaching Rig how to use it 😎

All my life I have been reading, holding, feeling my father’s books and today morning holding my son’s book gave me a kind of joy which I can’t explain and also made me feel that wherever Bapi is, he must be so so proud of his grandchild. I hope Rig continues writing and keeps spreading joy to book lovers.

Lovely lunch from Loved every dish but my favourite was Pork Anishi. I have had naga food many times before but never like the one I tasted today. Great food and great initiative by to make us experience the authentic dishes from Nagaland.

Thanks a lot for making me feel closer to home. I was feeling very low sitting in Mumbai missing home, and I was late too to place the order. But you guys delivered it real fast, right on time for me to cook the duck for the Uruka dinner. Can't thank you more. Thanks for helping me bring the bihu goodies to my dining table in Mumbai

With a full house turnout, re ordering things last moment, cooking in the kitchen while greeting the guests at the same time wouldnt have been possible without the support of the staff, , .sharma.9279 .
