What’s your favorite outdoor activity to do with the family?

This year I made a goal to take our kids out and explore as much as possible. We live in Ohio, so sometimes the weather isn’t great to be outside for long. This came from seeing the challenge of I did not care to keep track of how many hours we have been outside, but it helped me get in the correct mindset to go on more daily walks, to go find a cool quarry or small hiking trail to take our kids on.

So my friends, whether you have kids, your single, or married. Take some time today and get outdoors and explore!

Sabbath is your faith in action. When you take a sabbath you say “I trust you God”

The purpose of a sabbath is to clear away the distractions of our lives so we can rest in God and experience his grace in a new way.

So many emotions and feelings come up when I see this picture. I love having these simple moments with my kids, teaching them how to cook dinner with me. I hope they cherish these moments as much as I do. So thankfully for these 3 little blessings! ♥️

The things we looked forward to with our first baby breaks our hearts in a special kind of way with our last baby. We now know, truly how fast time goes.

I no longer have have a baby, I am now a mom of 2 toddlers and a preschooler 🥺

The first year all those mini stages of newborn, to slowly learning more and more things and getting more of their personality seem so long, but they really do go so incredibly fast.

It has really encouraged me to cherish every moment I possible can with my sweet precious kids. They all have such fun but different personalities, and I love being able to see the differences in their personalities now. It is fun seeing the parts of myself, and my husband in my kids.

So my friends reading this, remember. Not every moment needs to be perfect, not every moment needs to be a teaching moment, not every moment needs to be filled with activities or crafts or things. Sometimes we just gotta sit down and just be with your little ones. No matter how small, or how big. I promise you there is nothing better you can do in those few moments than to just be and to love on your little one.

Looking back on the last family photo shoot we did, and I can’t believe next month our baby will be 1 year old!

Especially considering I was 7 months pregnant in these pictures.

I just love looking back at these and seeing the true moments captured in a picture. are some pretty epic photographers!

Don’t let the hard seasons make you bitter. I have fully been allowing myself to grow through past traumatic experiences recently and can I tell y’all how faithful God has been to me in all of this?

I have had extremely painful and emotional things just completely taking away with the help of the Lord.

No pain is alike, we must all walk the path God has for our lives, but God promises there is a purpose in all your pain. So I just wanna encourage you with this today. If you are currently working through a hard season in life, God will be faithful in the end. He is our rock, our redeemer, our savior. He loves us, all of us. Yes, he LOVES YOU!

✝️Psalms 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

✝️Psalms 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

✝️2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

The world is full of stressful things, hurtful words, terrible news. I wanna challenge you today to just change one negative thought, one negative thing you keep thinking about to a positive and see how it changes your mindset.

Mine today is related to my kids toys.
😤 I keep thinking “gosh these dang kids toys are everywhere!”
🙂 gonna try to think “my kids are learning and playing”

✨ M O T H E R H O O D ✨

I saw a young mother
With eyes full of laughter
And two little shadows
Came following after.

Wherever she moved,
They were always right there
Holding onto her skirts,
Hanging onto her chair.
Before her, behind her—
An adhesive pair.

“Don't you ever get weary
As, day after day,
your two little tagalongs
Get in your way?”

She smiled as she shook
Her pretty young head,
And I'll always remember
The words that she said.

“It's good to have shadows
That run when you run,
That laugh when you're happy
And hum when you hum—
For you only have shadows

When your life's filled with sun.”

Some days are incredibly amazing. Some does are impossibly hard. Some days I sit back in awe of these precious humans, in how much they have grown in the 3 years I have been their mother. I thank the Lord every day for these 3 little shadows of mine.
