Everyone talks about how much they miss Goliath, but THIS ride I miss the most. It was great on a hot day, whether you were riding it or standing on the bridge. I also loved the theming. RIP Shipwreck Falls.

Fun fact: The Midnight Flyer at Santa's Village, is much more fun in the summer than the Winter. Man, that is one cold ride in December!

"My hat and sunglasses flew off my face on the roller coaster, what a bad ride!"

"Can you retrieve the items that fell out of my pockets on the ride?"

"My hat flew off, and the person behind me caught it!"

These are some of the MANY statements I have heard from attendees across the parks over the years.

This is your friendly reminder that NOTHING should be on your person during ANY ride. It is not the park's responsibility to claim your lost items, and more importantly, you could really hurt and injure a person with your loose items flying around at high speeds.

Put your items in a locker or a have non-rider with you hold it.

Trainless Tuesday. Superman The Ride opened in 2000 as Superman Ride Of Steel at Six Flags New England.
2025 marks the 25th anniversary for Superman The Ride, Catwoman's Whip, Flashback, and Riverside Park becoming Six Flags New England.

There many things I miss about SFNE/Riverside, and Shipwreck Falls continues to stay top of that list. Goliath was cool and all, but this was such a great attraction, especially on hot summer days.

This event supports Children’s Friend, an incredible organization dedicated to helping families in need during the holidays. Sadly, they recently lost a $10,000 grant that provides essentials for these families. Connie’s goal is to help raise the funds to make up for this loss.

Six Flags New England is going to have serious overhaul for 2025, and I am so excited. This is one of the oldest parks in the country and has been long overdue for an upgrade.

Hey ya'll. If you are local to our area (MA/RI), there is a fundraiser that will be taking place on Friday the 13th at one of my regular rinks, United Skates of America. It is for Children's Friend in Providence RI (You can learn more about their mission here: https://childrensfriendri.org/mission-principles-history/).

If you are local and interested in supporting a good cause that will help bring these kids joy on the holidays, feel free to pop on in (Roller skating is optional, but I always recommend giving it a try). I will be there for the event as well. Thanks, everyone!
