Today, we highlight the eerie and beautiful work of Norwegian photographer Øystein Aspelund [].

The above selected works, from two of our favorite projects of Øystein’s, “ÆON” and “NEON BLOOM”, The artist uses deep reds and bright lights to create bright and exciting imagery.

Øystein goes on to say “One of my main subjects of inspiration are places that have seen rapid changes. It may be borderlands where the civilisation turns into the wild. Or reflections on the struggle between man and his environment…”

Hamcus is a brand that’s packed with lore and creativity. With a focus on layering and creating unique silhouettes.

While the brand has been evolving ever since their 2018 drop “Continuus”, our favorite pieces to this date were shown in their SS20 collection "SOLØ" ahead of their Paris Fashion Week exhibition in the Summer of 20

The earthy tones, post-apocalyptic aesthetic and overall visual consistency make Hamcus an exciting brand to dig into.
