The Pentagon has declared dead two US Navy special forces soldiers who disappeared on January 11 in the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Somalia.
"We regret to report that after a thorough search lasting 10 days, the two US Navy SEALs were not found and are now presumed dead," US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement.
The SEALs disappeared while boarding a ship that was allegedly carrying Iranian-made weapons. They were reported to have fallen into the water.
