[PORTUGUES BELOW] & [ESPAÑOL ABAJO] Enough is enough. We're taking it to the streets! After months of organizing district meetings, actions, and demanding for the passage of the Work & Family Mobility Act - thousands of Black and Brown immigrant families continue to live in fear of ICE detention for being stopped for a traffic violation and many are being deported - even during a pandemic. All families deserve the right to move freely in our state and live in dignity. On September 26th, we are holding legislators accountable to support expanding access to driver's licenses across the Commonwealth! TIME IS UP. WE CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER. Together, we will imagine and fight for another world where all people are safe and protected. WHEN: Saturday, September 26th TIME: 2: WHERE: Meet us outside the Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) located at 136 Blackstone St, Boston (by the Haymarket T Station). We will march to the JFK building - uplifting the need to abolish ICE and the deportation machine - and we will then end our march at the State House for a short speaking program and rally because the decision is in their hands! ---- Due to COVID-19, we will be following the guidelines below: - All attendees must be wearing a mask. - Social distance, staying six feet apart from one another. After months of organizing district meetings, actions and demanding approval of the Family and Work Mobility Law, thousands of families of black and brown immigrants continue to live in fear of being arrested by ICE for being stopped for a traffic violation, and many are being deported, even during a pandemic. All families deserve the right to move freely in our state and to live with dignity. On September 26, we will demand from legislators the responsibility to support expanding access to Driver's License throughout the State of Massachusetts! THE TIME IS OVER. WE CANNOT WAIT ANYMORE. Together we will imagine and fight for another world, where all people are safe and protected. WHEN: Saturday, September 26 TIME: 2:00 pm WHERE: Find us outside the Motor Vehicle Registry (RMV), located at 136 Blackstone St, Boston (near Haymarket Station). We will march to the JFK building, extolling the need to abolish the ICE and the deportation machine. Then, we will end our march at the State House for a brief program of lectures and demonstrations, as the decision is now in their hands! ---- Due to COVID-19, we will be following the guidelines below: - All participants must wear a mask. - Maintain social distance, staying six feet away from each other. On the 26th of September, we need to demand that lawmakers support the expansion of access to driving licenses across Massachusetts! THE TIME IS FINISHED. WE CANNOT WAIT BUT. WHEN: Saturday, September 26 TIME: 2:00 PM WHERE: Local Motor Vehicle Registration (RMV) at 136 Blackstone St, Boston (near the Haymarket train station). We will march on the JFK building - raising the need to end an ICE in a new state - and we will end our march at the Casa del Estado for a brief program and a demonstration because the decision is in the hands of our new legislators. --- Due to COVID-19, we will follow the following guidelines: - All assistants must wear a mask. - We are going to practice social distance, keeping to 6 pieces one to another.
