JOHO: IT IS TIME FOR COASTAL TRIBES TO LEAD KENYA, I WILL RUN FOR PRESIDENCY IN 2022 VIA AN ODM TICKET

Mombasa County governor Ali Hassan Joho, on Thursday afternoon declared his interest in vying for presidency come 2022.

Speaking during a political rally, Joho was confident that he has what it takes to take Kenya to the next level at the same time challenging his party leader Raila Odinga.

“I have supported Raila Odinga for so many years. Today I want you to know and understand that I will vie for presidency through the ODM party. We have supported you long enough, now it’s our time also and you should support us,” said the Mombasa county governor who also added that it is about time that ODM took the reins of power.

Joho also echoed that it is a high time other tribes also had the opportunity to rule the country. According to him, tribes from the coast region have always been underrated because of their numerical disadvantage.

Recently ODM party secretary general Edwin Sifuna declared vacant the position of who to be their flag bearer for 2022 presidential elections.

Now as Joho has publicly declared his interest, the world of politics in Kenya is still waiting to see if party leader Raila Odinga will also declare his interest.

KNH EMPLOYEE DIES DURING SEXUAL IN*******SE IN DANDORA , LOVER LEFT SURPRISED

A Kenyatta National Hospital Employee {KNH} Mr Robert Maina Wanjiru was reported on Thursday morning to have fainted and died while having s*x with his girlfriend Joyce Wairimu Wangare in Nairobi’s Dandora estate.

The 35 year old who works at the hospital’s Theatre department is said to have been okay according to his girlfriend Joyce Wairimu.

According to reports, the police arrived and found an assortment of drugs and a medical report summary before taking the deceased’s body at the City mortuary for postmortem examination.

This latest incident comes just days after another man, a 59 year old died in Migori County from taking s*xual enhancement drugs.

DP RUTO’S WHEELBARROW PARTY OFFICIALLY REGISTERED, HAS A BRAND NEW OFFICE TOO

Registrar of political parties Ann Nderitu on Friday confirmed the successful name change and registration of United Democratic Alliance {UDA} a party widely associated with Deputy President William Ruto.

The name was changed from Party of Development and reforms {PDR}, registrar of political parties confidently confirmed.

“The registrar of political parties takes note of the decision taken by your party and the changes effected on January 7, 2021 upon the expiry of the statutory period in line with Section 20(3A) of the PPA,” Nderitu said and added that her office had received submissions from Khalid Njiraini Tianga who objected to the use of UDA but later withdrew the reservations.

PDR had issued a public notice of intention to change its name to UDA and its symbol to a wheelbarrow – Ruto's hustler nation signature slogan.

With the registrar's green-light, the UDA started an aggressive rebranding campaign including acquiring a spacious office at Kilimani's Makindi Road called Hustler's Centre.

Ruto's allies expressed excitement with the successful change of name as they shared photos of the new offices under renovation.

“It’s now official, the new baby in town is UDA formerly PDR which was born again,” Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen tweeted.
