We need your help! We realised that our socials had some restrictions on because of the name of the the style of music we play 😕 we managed to fix it but that affected us a lot as we couldn't reach out to new people for a whole month or so.

So in case you missed it, we are working hard to bring Manzanita Jr from Peru to UK to tour with us and we set up a crowdfunder to help with the high costs of his flights tickets and expenses in the UK such as visa, food, accommodation, etc...

We've been struggling to cover all these costs up front as we don't have any funding or support from any organisation (even tho we tried hard) and as you all know we are a fully independent band with no record label, we do all the hard work behind the scenes to make things happen and keep spreading Latin music in the UK 🎼🪘🎸

I’m very excited to have LOS CHICHANOS all the way from Edinburgh!!!

The band behind Edinburgh’s legendary late night fiestas, Los Chichanos formed to heat up their audiences with pumping live Latin music in the mysterious form of Jungle Cumbia and “chicha”. Originating in Peru, the genre has experienced a worldwide boom in recent years, and it’s clear why – frenzied Latin percussion, jungle sounds, iconic surf-inspired guitar, vintage organ, dark psychedelia and all the raucous rhythms of live cumbia & salsa you could ever dance to! This is wild music at its sweatiest, performed live to make bodies move and minds travel. With members from Brazil, Chile, El Salvador, Venezuela, Australia and the UK, the international combo formed in Scotland in 2021. Their shows regularly reach capacity, proving popular amongst lovers of tropical parties, Latin music and late night dance hangouts. Using traditional cumbia rhythms and full-powered percussion on timbales, congas, bongos and guira, the group mixes experimental electric guitar and iconic nostalgic organ sounds, exploring ‘60s psychedelic and surf influences… The result? Founded in 2021 RDB is an independent record label which focuses on reissues of vintage Latin American music, with a particular focus on rhythms of Peruvian Cumbia, also known as Chicha.
With five releases to date, each album is a testament to the label’s dedication to preserving and promoting Latin American musical heritage.
At the core of RDB’s mission are the “Chicha por Favor” parties, dedicated to showcasing the distinctive sound of Chicha!!

Lokandes is an Andean Latin Afro grooves fusion band based in London since 2009.
About the name is the combination of two words: & #39;Crazy& #39; and & #39;Andes& #39; which means
making unconventional and alternative music with the Andean instruments and
bringing it up to date making a fusion of traditional roots and Afro- rhythms with other
contemporary genres such as Reggae, Cumbia, Ska, Jazz, Son, Rumba Folk and
funky Latin rhythms. All of these made the band special and unique!!
