Finally made it home , exhausted , after a +80 mile round trip for a rehearsal tonight . Here’s a quick pic taken immediately after finishing the 2nd set - I’m rather sweaty and tired looking !

The Icarus Vision bois sounded awesome - looks like it’s going to be a superb gig at SwanandHedgehog on Friday 7th June , no joking 🕶🤟

4 years old today !

Originally set up during lockdown in ‘20 , to broadcast the videos of acts from the BOOMBOX and other The AIR Events shows , as an effort to keep them relevant and visible whilst we were all banned from performing.

In the July of 2020 it broadcast a 3 day virtual Festival , synced to run live alongside radio broadcasts from two stations , consisting of everything plus music videos and presenter links by myself .

Once things returned to normal it seemed a shame to retire it , so it continued with random TV programs , movies , documentaries , band profiles and lists of venues etc …

Over the course of this year , having realised that there was too much writing on the home page (and most of the other pages) for modern tastes I have been redesigning BBTV (when I get the time) to resemble more of a traditional streaming platform layout - still working in the concert archives etc … but BOOMBOXtv continues to roll along , mixing entertainment that you would find on Netflix etc alongside all the grassroots music stuff that I’m involved in .
