Originally, it grew out of a few comical posts she made about the initial culture shock that came with moving from Los Angeles to a small town like Boulder City. Now, the web site at bouldercity.com has grown to an audience of over 25,000 folks who follow us on our page as well as X, Instagram and the Weekly eNews Summary. Now – with three social media channels, a website and a weekly eNewsletter to choose from, anyone can be a Boulder City Socialite! That’s a little bit of history for you. The event takes place on January 20, 2026 from 1:00PM to 2:30PM at the Elaine K Smith Building located at 700 Wyoming Street. Historic Preservation Award nominations are now open as well. Looking for something to do this weekend? Las Vegas Roller and Strollers has you covered! They are hosting Walking Festival in town that is the kickoff event for a series of walks around the country to celebrate and promote AVA: America's Walking Club. The cost is just $4 per walk, with a one-time $10 registration fee. There will be walks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Business News Post: Visit Boulder Business Development in 2026! It's a Lions Club-affiliated business networking group for business in the Boulder City area. These are the January speakers, Charles Williams, Cory Gorman, Jean Widner, and Denise Ashurst. Guests are invited to attend the meetings by calling Jean Widner at (619) 994-7942.

The meetings take place every Tuesday morning from 6:45AM to 8:00AM at DeSimone’s Steakhouse at Railroad Pass, breakfast and beverages are provided.

They are always looking for new members and community guests are welcome! Please just contact Jean at the number above.
