Originally, it grew out of a few comical posts she made about the initial culture shock that came with moving from Los Angeles to a small town like Boulder City. Now, the web site at bouldercity.com has grown to an audience of over 25,000 folks who follow us on our page as well as X, Instagram and the Weekly eNews Summary. Now – with three social media channels, a website and a weekly eNewsletter to choose from, anyone can be a Boulder City Socialite! That’s a little bit of history for you. The Boulder City, NV Chamber of Commerce accomplished another spectacular event last night: the 56th Annual Santa's Night Parade. Thousands lined the streets in the Historic Boulder City to enjoy the holiday sentiments. We caught the Mills Family (Brittny, Travis, Sadie, Kate, and Ella) all dressed up and ready for the fun. The groundbreaking for the brand new Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City Visitor Center was held yesterday afternoon with a number of dignitaries in attendance. The visitor center is slated to begin construction early next year and will take approximately 15 months to complete. We can't wait! We have some information about the Bureau of Reclamation landscape project at the Administration Building at the top of the hill. Naturally, many of us were not happy to see the grassy hill go away. It was a symbol of "clean, green Boulder City". But the grass cost a lot of money to maintain with the irrigation and all, so it was removed and replaced. We have more details about that.
