As I observed Monday's city council meeting, there was a presentation about our sewage and wastewater system. Lynnwood needs to continually make sure that sewage capacity is keeping up with population growth. Nobody wants to live in a city where the wastewater treatment plant is insufficient to meet the needs of the city's toilets. Much of our current infrastructure is nearing the end of its usable life but the good news is we can stay ahead of the curve by upgrading and replacing that infrastructure over the next 20 years. Improved technology and more durable materials will help make Lynnwood's sewage system more efficient and greener 💚 for the future.

Giving Tuesday is one of my favorite holidays, because I believe it brings out the best in so many of us.
