No Dakota Access Pipeline (feat. Activist Nolan Hack) – Royal State of Mind

You may not have heard about it, but Native Americans are currently leading massive protests all across the country against the Dakota Access Pipeline.

The NA community was not adequately consulted about the pipeline's planning, even though the construction will be destructive to sacred Native land and Native lives.

I talked with activist Nolan Hack about the historical implications (does this story sound familiar?!) and why the suppression of the Native community is so unsurprising in 2016.

De Lacy Davis is a retired police sergeant, founder of "Black Cops Against Police Brutality," and member of the "National Coalition of Law Enforcement for Justice." His job was also cut short because of his vocalness about the lack of justice in America's police system.
