One year ago today in a little chapel in Las Vegas, Elvis made it official.

Five months later, we exchanged personal vows in the most beautiful place on Earth.

Four months after that, we threw a party for all our friends and family to celebrate.

And now, three months later, we're back to this very special date.

It's hard to believe so much time has already passed.

We may not have done it the way we were "supposed" to, but we did it the right way for us.

We’ve had some deep convos over the past week and we are so thankful for this community and all the creators that offer us their insight, wisdom, and support.

Every year we revisit the “why” behind our work to see if our current practices are lining up with who we are and what inspires us.

What we always come back to is the experience we are able to create for people on their wedding day, and how it is so meaningful to our work.

Because really, anyone can pick up a camera. Sure, it’s tough to get the hang of editing, and not everything has a natural eye for composition. But at the end of the day, there are so many choices for wedding videography. You could hire just about anyone if all you wanted was a video of your wedding day.

And that’s exactly why we do things differently around here.

We know this is an investment, but we don’t want it to be a scary one. We have made it our mission to serve our couples with everything in our hearts so that they can hold onto these incredible moments with their loved ones.

There’s something about the wedding day that creates this unifying human experience – a tale of love, discovery, and even loss. And it’s why we lean deeply into storytelling as a pillar of our work. Because without it, it’s just another montage of beautiful clips set to some music. You feel us?

So here’s what we can promise:

We’re going to take the time to get to know you, and gently push you out of your comfort zone.

We’re going to make suggestions that we believe will elevate your film and experience, not our portfolios.

Thinking back on this weekend makes us smile ☺️

We had the pleasure of meeting everyone at the rehearsal dinner before the wedding day and off the bat we knew this was going to be a fun group! From goofy antics with siblings, to inside jokes and thematic dabs -- Hannah, Greg, and their bridal party really brought a fun and light-hearted energy to the weekend that made this edit so fun and personal.

Grab the box of tissues because this got us in the feels 😭

One of the best parts of our job is getting to capture moments like these. Moments where no matter how hard you try NOT to cry, there is that sneaky tear in your eye waiting to surprise you.

Throughout the time we work with our couples, we are there every step of the way to make sure we have your wedding day vision down to a T 👏

By the time your wedding day actually arrives, we are basically your 3rd & 4th wheels -- lucky you! 😂

We become equally as invested in your love story as you are. Our goal is always to make sure that our couples can look back on their wedding day and remember how it FELT to be in that moment.

Cal and Nancy danced the night away after an incredibly touching vow exchange, and I think it's safe to say that the room lit up while they were dancing.

We are so excited to share this cozy wedding in the Rocky Mountains! Though we were only brought into this event in the final weeks leading up to their wedding, we quickly felt like one of the gang. These two welcomed us into their worlds and we were so grateful to share such a meaningful day with them. WHAT. A. WEDDING! Our friendship with Cal and Nancy dates back to our bartending days in Morgantown, West Virginia, so this was a really special one for us.

A few weeks before their wedding, these two had the AWESOME idea to invite us to their Bridal Party Beer Olympics and we got some downright epic footage with this group. Having recently moved to another state, Cal and Nancy were SO excited to be back home and to celebrate alongside their closest friends. We loved that Mom, Dad, and siblings were all in for the fun, too!

And while the Beer Olympics was a more *casual* event, you best believe each and every one of them brought that same energy to the wedding day. We filmed a bridal party shotgun competition, burnt s’mores by the firepit, and an unforgettable fireworks display. And did we mention the killer backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains? I mean this was like the summer send-off party of the year!

And even though we had plenty of fun, goofy footage to work off of, we couldn’t help but notice the incredible thought that went into the experience. A piper led the way into the ceremony with traditional music that nodded to Cal’s Irish heritage. After their vows, Nancy and Cal mixed a bourbon from their home states West Virginia and Maryland and crafted a cocktail for the rest of the guests to enjoy.

These two created such an intimate and personal experience for their guests by infusing their love story and personalities into each element of the day, and I think that shows so much about who they are as individuals, and as a couple. This is truly what it looks like to marry your best friend, and we are just so happy for these two.

One of our all time fave intros we’ve ever put together! Alyssa and Jason’s wedding day had plenty of those tear-jerking moments that make an emotional wedding film, but their guests brought a lot of fun and high-energy vibes to the day, as well. It was important for us to showcase ALL the feels from the day – not just the ones that required tissues. So we thought this funky, upbeat intro was a perfect way to integrate some of those funnier, sassier moments.

We LOVED the details that made this romantic vineyard wedding. The groomsmen sported corked boutonnieres--SO cute! In the reception space, a bottle of wine sat in place of centerpieces. During the ceremony, Alyssa and Jason blended two bottles of wine to signify the joining of two hearts. The landscaping was pristine and the drone shots were epic! This was definitely a wedding for wine lovers.

Alyssa and Jason’s story is one of resilience; the inner peace that's found in a loving relationship. We are so humbled to be part of these beautiful memories and we just love the way this film turned out!

Some say that marriage is about finding someone to grow old with.

Savannah and Josh found each other early in life. They grew up together in the same little West Virginia town and have celebrated many milestones by each other’s sides. When they thought about how they wanted to spend their wedding day, they realized the importance of experiencing it fully present and together. They decided to skip the traditional wedding, and we just love that for these two!

Yes, your partner is someone you’ll grow old with. But we think it’s equally important to find someone to stay young with. And these two definitely fuel each other’s sense of adventure! They’re already planning a return trip to the Pacific Northwest and we just might have to hide in their suitcases.

High school sweethearts Emily and Thomas had a beautiful wedding day at The Middleburg Barn wedding venue in Middleburg, Virginia. As we watch their highlight film, we’re reminded how fun and exciting that day was. Their footage reminded us how it felt to be in the presence of a great and timeless love. Even through a screen, you can feel the warmth and joy beaming through their hearts.

After ten years of growth and love, their friends and family eagerly celebrated these two. The day was full of energy and smiles--and we could see why! We loved the intentionality behind this minimalist tablescape design. There is just something so elegant about white and gold--a classic duo!

And the baby's breath centerpieces?? *chef's kiss*

You can recreate this dreamy vibe, too! Just keep it simple:

•Avoid bright colors and opt for neutral a palette. Plain white against delicate organics creates a romantic and charming visual.

•Create a focal point with dainty greenery. Even the simplest foliage can make a beautiful, bold statement.

•Use geometric pieces for a clean, contemporary look.

Ben and Katelyn's day was full of laughter and smiles. After eight years of dating through school, pets, and careers, their friends and family were overjoyed to make their partnership "official" in marriage. The bridal party brought out all the stops for this couple! The groomsmen coordinated a group, pre-ceremony Fireball shot, while the girls planned a secret gift giving that would bring everyone in the room to tears.

As Ben and Katelyn celebrated with their guests, there was undoubtedly an absence that could be felt throughout the day. Those in attendance honored Katelyn's dad by sharing happy memories of his big personality, and how proud he was to see Katelyn and Ben grow together.

Currently, these two are off to start a thrilling new chapter in their lives! As Katelyn finishes medical school and prepares for a residency position, we know that these two have some truly exciting times ahead 🥰

In 2016, Philip thought he hit rock bottom. Fresh out of graduate school and unemployed, he acquired a speeding ticket that he couldn't afford to pay. As a last resort, he applied for an entry-level position at Kroger. What he thought was the lowest point in his life turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It was at Kroger that he met the love of his life: Kimberly.

Philip and Kimberly's wedding day was just a roller coaster of emotions. After several years dating, their families were overjoyed to watch these two love birds make it official. We captured so much laughter, and even more tears. To watch this couple's incredible journey come to this fairytale ending was truly an emotional experience to be part of. We know life is going to take these two to incredible heights, and we can't wait to follow along their newest journey as newlyweds!

In our line of work, we get to know each of our couple's before the big day. What we don't often get to hear until the wedding day itself? The family's perspective.

Both Connor and Lexie had siblings in the wedding party, and they had some great thoughts to share during the toasts! We absolutely loved getting to tell their love story through their loved ones eyes. We also got to see fun and memorable moments from their guests, including a surprise group chug during their first dance, a tearful speech from the groom's mom, and some epic dance moves!

But probably most touching was the letter exchange between Connor and Lexie before the ceremony, when they open up about their baby on the way and the excitement they share for their growing family. Prepare for an emotional rollercoaster--this one will have you tearing up!

We can't tell you how excited we are to share this one!!! Kim and Agu celebrated with a country club wedding at The Regency at Dominion Valley. We loved how excited their families were to connect with one another. Their guests were ALL over the dance floor and the energy was truly spectacular. We wanted to reflect the fun, party vibes of the day, without taking away from the romance and pure love we saw during their vows. We couldn't be more happy with how their film turned out--a truly unique, and one of a kind video for a very special, and out of this world couple.
