Wow! We saw Jeremy Moses Curtis perform last night at Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA, singing new songs from his solo album that comes out next month. He was joined by Mike Castellana.

Jeremy is an incredibly talented bass player and producer. It was a real treat to see him upfront singing and playing guitar.

If you want to be as awesome as you feel, go pre-order his album on Bandcamp. Right now. “Midlife Chrysler” comes out on October 6. When you pre-order it, he’ll give you one of the songs on the album. Link below.

We're working on a new series that puts a spotlight on a specific year of music made in New England. This is what we've got so far for "Oh, hello, 2003". It's mostly Boston rock bands because that's the music we knew back then.

June 8th! No cover charge at the door. Music starts at 6:30pm.

Join us for a rare duo performance by Girl with a Hawk's Linda Viens and Daniel Coughlin at Medford Brewing Company in West Medford, MA. Two of our favorite Boston rockers will perform a mix of originals and "Songs We Like". Tell a friend!

Girl with a Hawk is singer-songwriter Linda Viens’ band of Boston rock legends — gorgeously emotive indie rock with Americana, garage, and punk roots.

Parking is available in front of the brewery at 30 Harvard Ave and down the street at the West Medford Municipal Parking Lot (456 High Street). Nearby public transportation includes the West Medford commuter rail station plus 80 and 95 buses. All are a short walk to the brewery.

We have an online radio station that exclusively plays music by New England artists and bands because of legends like Rick Berlin. He has been recording and performing in the Boston area for 50+ years and is a mentor and inspiration to many musicians. He is one of the driving forces behind Jamaica Plain Music Festival and he's a book author, too. Cheers to you, Rick Berlin.

Scroll through for a few photos from Thursday night at Brighton Music Hall—“We’re All In This Together: A Celebration of the Music of Rick Berlin”

- Rick Berlin and his bands from over the years including a rare reunion performance by Orchestra Luna. They released their debut album in 1974 on Epic Records.

- The Sheila Divine performing as a duo: Aaron Perino + Brian Charles.

- Indie rock band Hallelujah The Hills. (Alas, we wandered off between performances and missed most of band leader Ryan Walsh’s enthusiastic testimonial about his friend and mentor)

- Nervous Eaters, a Boston punk/new wave band who got their start in 1973 (first live performance in 1977 at The Rat)
