Doek & Slay...why is it so controversial??? Is it that inconceivable that women can get together and just have a good time without men around? What is that about???

We smell an ism and its...classism. The discourse surrounding the "type of woman" that goes to Doek & Slay vs events such as Girl Fest and Unplugged is rooted in something that is problematic.
