This usually causes a lot of stress and often leads to getting into debt because your ego or kindness couldn’t allow you to decline.

Starting today, allow yourself to be honest. It’s okay not to be able to make a purchase or help out when you’re genuinely unable to.

1. If friends ask you to go out with them and you’re currently broke, say it out loud. Don’t borrow money because you feel ashamed. People appreciate honest people, guaranteed.

2. Keeping up with trends and lifestyle inflation, you’ll be much happier staying in a lifestyle you can afford trust me.

3. When family reaches out and you genuinely can’t help at the time, be honest and tell them you can help next time when you can.

We cause our minds strenuous stress aiming for the impossible, finding ourselves in loops of debt.
