A 1969 minor league game was played by mistake so I wrote to the teams. The responses to my 1970s letters about the unscheduled game were accepted as a donation to the BBHOF library. Next stop: the Plaque Gallery where HOFers are honored. At home, the first button-down shirt worn in a year got tossed in the laundry basket.

I've been voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame! (Sort of.) In 1970 at age fourteen I noticed that two minor league teams played a game by mistake. Based on my story written 48 years later

As the Baseball Hall of Fame is a virtually a public institution, I believe it's appropriate to share my IBBWAA HOF selections. (What is the IBBWAA? It's the Internet Baseball Writers Association of America and my credentials are below.) My selections: Curt Schilling, Omar Vizquel, Billy Wagner and Jeff Kent. My criteria: being elite at his position for more than ten years, after applying the PED filter.
