Our second contest of the semester will be Halloween-themed. Send us your scary sonnets, your violent villanelles, your creepy cantos, or even your short stories about that terrible halloween party you went to where everyone was dressed as a "sexy" something and you spent the entire night wondering at what age the social anxieties of parties begin to fade away (spoiler alert: it's MUCH older than you think). Start penning your Halloween missives, and send them to us by 10/28! We'll announce a winner on Halloween day! Stay spooky 🎃

We chose the name but you define us. Our students, readers, and contributors are what make Quiddity what it is. You all were given voices and now is the time to use them. There are no limitations on the kind of writing we publish: we want the rawest form of you.

Quiddity is a collection of works from the Arcadia community that represents the diversity and talents of our student body: bring the chemist, the psychologist, the lawyer, the teacher, the completely unexpected. What is in this literary magazine are creating pieces that are true to themselves, original, and unapologetic.
