The race was held in the south of Spain, in Andalucia. That two-day race with dynamic trial elements is the stage of rally-raid Spain Championship. All participants had to overcome 450 kilometers of a rocky off road along the desert-dusty tracks under the baking sun.
We are pleased to introduce you the RaceFace crew which won the second place in T-3 class being powered by Jaton Racing team.
"Baja Almanzora" is a professional race and for the ninth time is being held in Almanzora. The name of this area has the Arabic meaning of «The Winner» or «The place of Victory». Every year, "Baja Almanzora" usually gatheres a lot of high-quality
drivers from all over the world and this place is really becoming the place of victory for all winners.
The invaluable trophy of this competition is the "Indalo Cup", having its personal centuries-old history. "Indalo" is the symbol of Almeria, it´s the ancient drawing which was found inside a prehistoric cave at this province. The Cup is a figure of a man holding a bow or a rainbow symbolizing the agreement between the Gods and a man. For centuries, "Indalo" has been considered as a totem and a symbol of good luck. This year, for the legendary Cup, six countries were competing: Kazakhstan, Spain, Argentina, Portugal, France and Great Britain. It´s a big opportunity for sport cars to have a test drive and make some technical updates, especially this year because "Silk Way rally" was canceled.
All sport cars were divided into three main classes: T-1, T-2 and T-3. RaceFace crew was taking part in T-3 class using a small but very powerful "Can Am Maverick" buggy, which showed itself quite stable on the race track, thanks to the Donerre suspension, which has already been tested on Dakar by Jaton Racing team.
