Screening will be watched by people on boats on Bassin de la Villette.
A floating cinema of 38 Ruban Bleu electric boats from the fleet of Paris e-boat charter company Marin d’eau douce will be making history this Saturday when they create a floating social distancing cinema on the banks of the Seine in Paris.
The floating cinema night is also an inventive and whimsical way to celebrate the reopening of regular cinemas after the shutdown necessitated by COVID-19.

As the lockdown has slowly started to ease and the socially activity has resumed , problems for the blind seem to have increased.

The royal National institute of blind people has urged Several reckoned brands to turn their logos up side down to spread awareness about how the the world has toppled for the visually impaired and has increased their challenges.

This campaign aims to highlight how social distancing has changed the way they navigate public places. New rules and regulations have made it impossible for the visually impaired people to safely adapt to the new normal.

While its getting easier for us , its getting difficult by the day for them because of inaccessible rules and regulations.

To show solidarity with the cause , Several brands like Amazon Alexa, Barclays, Very.com, Kelloggs, P&G, TalkTalk, The Financial Times, British Gas and LEGO to show a range of adverts that appear upside down, before revealing a hard-hitting message about the way blind and partially sighted people have experienced the world during this time.

Support people in distress and spread awareness. If brands can show unity, then we can too.

Fair and lovely ads have ruled our beauty perceptions for a very long time and not just this brand but several other marketing and advertising campaigns have a major role in shaping the society as we know it today.

The influence these ads have on our sub conscious mind is far beyond our purchasing decisions and shapes are values, beliefs, attitudes and the way we see ourselves and the world.

Thankfully, there are few brands who have understood the responsibility they shoulder and have created some impactful ads to promote body, gender and cultural positivity for greater good. Amidst all these social uprisings and finding the new normal, this has become more important now than ever.

This ad has impacted cultural positivity through visuals and is worth taking inspiration from.

Pepsi collaborates with swiggy to support restaurants by launching an initiative called . As a part of the , whenever any consumer adds any soft drink to a meal order on swiggy from june 25 to July 19, Pepsi will contribute part of the proceeds in respect of each soft drink ordered tp the NRAI covid 19 relief corpus fund.

They will also provide dry ration to restaurant workers who are suffering due to these precarious times.

Next time you order from swiggy , please make sure to add a bottle of pepsi and help those in need.

Why are companies boycotting Facebook?

Brands like Verizon , P&G , Ben and Jerry , viber etc are planning to suspend advertisements on facebook due to facebooks not abiding by standards avoiding content which promotes hate speech , discrimination and denigrating.

Youtube has previously face similar suspensions for their tolerance of discrimination and hatespeech.

Brands are becoming more cautious in choosing their partners to protect their brand image.

This move aims to bring about a huge change in facebook’s policies related to the content.

Loss in revenue will force Facebook to come up with acceptable solutions which confer to community standards and welfare.

This is extremely essential to eradicate fake news, community violence , discrimination etc as social media platforms are instrumental in shaping community perceptions.

Its high time brands act responsibly and share the right message.

All of us are aware about America’s black lives matter protests and the most controversial beauty trend of all time : Skin lightening ( skin brightening)

Though lightening products are a part of a million dollar industry, Johnson and Johnson is dropping this product category.

According to statements released by the company, their intention was never to promote stereotypical beauty standards and they believe that healthy skin is beautiful skin.

While its great and much needed move ,What surprises me is the timing of this move.

In spite of so many warnings given to companies by various governments and WHO regarding the negative physical impact of these chemical based products,
Companies never took an action.

But, black lives matter protest made Johnson and Johnson take this step.
Social movements are putting alot of companies under the spot light.

Its alarming that, brands will only act in favor of their consumers only if their brand image is threatened by such movements.

Can you believe this ? Normal plastic boxes and bottles have been awarded best invention title.

No idea is big or small, if it solves a problem then its a big hit and that time finding durable and light weight tiffin boxes , bottles , storage boxes was a major issue for all our moms.

Tupperware was smart enough to launch these products, it also created one of the most successful affiliate programmes.

I am there was at least one aunty in your neighbourhood who sold Tupperware.

Tupperware will always be remembered for empowering women and making them financially independent. Their affiliate program was truly an amazing invention.
