Mission Statement: History is often written by those in power and as such, valuable q***r perspectives are often lost: the goal of this q***r zine is to archive experiences, opinions, viewpoints, critiques, and voices of q***r people on contemporary issues, focusing mainly on students at UCI and activists in the Orange County area (but not limited solely to these demographics). This includes essay

s, prose, art, poetry, photography, and anything that captures an important part of our q***r history that is often threatened with extinction. This group is meant to create a forum for the project in order to exchange ideas on the prospects of the q***r zine while also being a call for submissions. If you have anything that you would like to submit, please send an email to:

We’re really excited for our events this summer, like our upcoming collaborative zinemaking workshop at Pop Hop, and we’d love an extra pair of hands during these events. We can always use people to help us do things like loading and unloading workshop…
