Something happened this week. My first ex wife passed on. My daughter called and told me. At first, I was sad and heartbroken for my children and grandchildren. Then slowly the good memories we shared over the past thirty plus years started flooding my head. I started shedding tears. I posted on my personal page for prayer. Most everyone shared they were praying for my family. Well, what about me?? She is the one that left and divorced me. Yes, it got extremely ugly, but that was still the woman that I loved and pledged to be with until death do us part. Please pray for ME. Thank you.

What a day.......if we would have remained married, today we would be celebrating 40 years together. The first several anniversaries after she divorced me, I spent in the casino, drowning my sorrows. This day is different. I have someone to spend time with and enjoy life with. You learn to move on. It's tough, no doubt, but you can't remain where you were. Keep on truckin'.

As we head into Father's day weekend, here comes the pain associated with having children that are not speaking to you. I pray constantly for reconciliation. So thankful for the child that does still recognize dad.

Thank goodness yesterday is over. Being divorced, there is no mother of my children in the picture to celebrate. She doesn't speak to me and has succeeded to have two of my three children stop speaking to me. Also, no mother in law to celebrate either. My mom passed on more than 30 years ago, so there's that.
Just an awful day to try and make it through.
On a positive note, my baseball team played yesterday and won the game. That helped greatly.

Divorce isn't supposed to be so easily obtained, as an easy out, especially by professed Christians. There are very few, serious Biblical grounds for divorce. My story is to help those that have been kicked to the curb by a selfish and sometimes manipulated spouse.
