NVIDIA, led by Guilin Liu, introduced a state-of-the-art deep learning method that can edit images or reconstruct a corrupted image, one that has holes or is missing pixels. The method can also be used to edit images by removing content and filling in the resulting holes. It's much like Photoshop on steroids!

The 'Frazier Lens' is a special camera lens designed by Australian photographer Jim Frazier.

The Frazier Lens provides an appearance of a massive depth of field, allowing the foreground and background of an image to be in focus at the same time. Frazier's lenses have been widely used in Hollywood and wildlife cinematography. Here's an old original video showcasing some of it's abilities!

A lot of people don't rate Tom Cruise as a serious 'actor', but he does most of his own movie stunts - so maybe he's more a 'stuntman'.

In any case, you can't question his dedication to getting 'the shot' for his new Mission Impossible film by doing repeat HALO jumps, out of planes, at high altitude. Check the rig on the head of the cameraman jumping with him!

At the age of 18, Radheya Jegatheva has clocked up more air miles in the past 12 months than an emerging movie star. The Perth teenager is the writer, director and animator of iRony, a short film — and cautionary tale — about the intrusion of technology and social media in people's lives.

Since it was completed a year ago, iRony has won 74 awards and been selected for 168 film festivals around the world.
