At this week’s general meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing from the amazing Dr. Deepti Upparapalli about the experiences that got her to where she is now on her medical journey.

Dr. Upparapalli is currently an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellow at UCLA. She completed her bachelors at the University of California, Berkeley, then proceeded to medical school at the American University of the Caribbean, graduating in 2015. She is extremely passionate about her patients and cannot wait to start her own practice and continue on in the world of advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and transplant cardiology after completing her training in June 2022.

A huge thank you to Dr. Upparapalli for taking the time to share her wisdom with our club members!
