“Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” — 1 Peter 3:9
This verse calls us to live differently. In a world quick to retaliate, God asks us to choose grace. When faced with hurt, offense, or wrongs, we’re not called to react with vengeance or bitterness, but to respond with blessing.
Why? Because we are called to a higher purpose—a life marked by love, mercy, and forgiveness. When we choose to bless instead of curse, we reflect the heart of God and unlock His blessings in our own lives.
It’s not always easy, but it’s powerful. Let go of the need to repay wrong with wrong. Instead, sow seeds of kindness and trust God to be your defender. You were made to be a light—shine it boldly.
