I’m mentally and emotionally in Lebanon. Praying for my brothers and sisters there. Here’s a photo from my 4th visit to Lebanon (a 5th one followed after that). This one was taken near one of the refugee camps I’ve visited with to deliver food parcels. It’s very close to where strikes are taking place..

it’s heart breaking to imagine what the families in those refugee camps have already went through to become “refugees” and to live as refugees all these years only to go through another war..

I’ve met the local teams who coordinate donations and on ground humanitarian work.. we should do something to support their emergency efforts right now. Im praying for them.. I’m praying for my friends in Lebanon and I’m praying for everyone!

I’m thinking out loud and typing I’m sorry if I’m not organized.. it’s.. it’s just too much. This is too much.

🚨 A message to the world from Shaun King:

This genocide has taught me something painful about humanity.

With very few exceptions, we are all cowards.

Yes, the presidents and prime ministers and princes of power are cowards. This is true. We all know this.

But so are you. And me.

We are so afraid to lose our lives on this earth, we are all so afraid of physical pain, that we are watching babies being blown to bits on our phones, in real time, and we are simply not doing all that we could to stop it.

You are lying to yourself if you think you are doing all you can right now.

You aren’t. And I think you know it.

But let me say something that I have come to realize.

I don’t believe 99% of us would confront a murderer if they were committing their crimes next door to us.

Maybe you would call for help, but you wouldn’t go help yourself.

How do I know this?

Because daily we watch our sisters and brothers in Gaza be slaughtered right before our eyes and we have convinced ourselves that we can’t stop it.

That’s simply not true.

We are BILLIONS strong.

But we are so gripped with fear, that we think their millions are stronger than our BILLIONS.

Sisters and brothers, we are stronger than our inaction makes us look.

We outnumber America.
We outnumber Israel.

They don’t have enough bombs to kill us all.

They don’t have enough drones to kill us all.

Today, I break the streak of focusing solely on Gaza to practice one thing I’ve learned from Palestinians, appreciating life. So I want to celebrate a remarkable person in my life - my dear husband. It’s his birthday and I want to let him know how much I appreciate him and love him. While we navigate through this troubling world, I’m grateful to have by my side. Happy birthday 💜

The court concluded that South Africa does have standing to bring their genocide case against Israel and that there IS urgency for provisional measures. IsraHELL is now ordered to:
1. End its destruction in Gaza
2. Protect civilians
3. Allow humanitarian aids
4. Submit a report in 30 days to prove they took measures to abide by the above!
