Dear Beatport,

We recently published an article on synthetic music. In our article, we highlighted several concerns regarding Beatport's handling of AI-generated music. We reached out last month but did not receive a response. Therefore, we are reaching out again to seek clarification on the following points:

-Lack of Transparency: Beatport does not clearly disclose the presence of AI-generated music on its platform. Consumers have the right to know.
-No Policy: There is no evident policy from Beatport regarding synthetic music, raising concerns about the authenticity and originality of music available for purchase.
-Impact on Human Artists: AI-generated music could undermine the efforts and creativity of human artists, leading to an uneven playing field.
-Quality Control Issues: How does Beatport ensure the quality and originality of music? Synthetic music might not meet the same standards as human-created works.
-Consumer Deception: Consumers might be unaware they are purchasing AI-generated music, which could be deceptive and damaging to consumer trust.
-Need for Disclosure: Beatport should disclose which tracks are AI-generated to maintain transparency and trust with its users.

We would like to understand Beatport's stance and policy on these issues. Specifically, we are interested in Beatport's position on music that is entirely generated by AI without human input, measures in place to identify and manage synthetic music submissions, and how Beatport ensures the authenticity and originality of the music on its platform.
