Still A Part of Us: Stories of stillbirth and infant loss We're Winter and Lee.

Because of our sweet son Brannan who was stillborn at 38 weeks, we created this place where other moms and dads can share the birth story of their baby that was stillborn or who died in infancy.

I LOVED doing this for my son this week. It felt like a way to parent and care for my child who is not here with us.

And it was incredibly easy with some advice from the folks who created our son's headstone bench.

Brannan's grave looks mostly ready for Memorial Day Weekend (celebrated in the United States)! We noticed that some of the gold paint is turning more bronzy, and the black lettering needs to be touched up, so that'll be our next project.

This is a small thing you can do for a mom who has an angel baby.

I'm a sad mom because the event where my son died is a sad event. But my son is not a sad thing. I'm proud to be his mom. and I love it when people bring him up. thank you to all those who do that often!
