Because of our sweet son Brannan who was stillborn at 38 weeks, we created the Still A Part of Us Podcast and this page, where other moms and dads can share the birth story of their baby that was stillborn or who died in infancy ❤️👼

What other hard things happened to you?

These were unexpected and hard things that happened to us in the hospital after we lost our son Brannan and I still think how surreal and unnatural it all felt.

Btw i went through "The Crack" Slot Canyon in St George Utah. Doing that was hard, but i had an amazing cheering section. I was proud of myself for making it through! Kinda like life, huh?

It's funny because we've never heard anyone who had lost a child say this to us.

They know from experience that their experience is different and hard in its own way.

This one is a tricky one sometimes.

As someone who has suffered a loss or a tragedy, what do you think when someone says this to you?

Personally, I'm not a fan. It feels like one of the reasons my son was stillborn was so i could become strong.

I prefer my son being here.

it's hard. because we want people to know they existed, and when people don't acknowledge that they were your baby, you feel like you got stabbed in the heart again.
