Hey there, Sports Fans! It's about time to give some end-of-season shoutouts!
It was super fun to be able to tackle some very different music requests this season.
Nadine Schwartsman has been riding her timeless Nena I1 pop freestyle with Melissa Connelly's Elnieta, which they debuted in competition end of last year. We have been collaborating since then to bring it as close to perfection as possible. This summer they received their highest freestyle score to date - 73.213%! Congratulations, we must be getting very close indeed!
I had the pleasure of working with Charell Garcia to debut her first ever freestyle at 2nd level with her Fiorentino, using music from the orchestral soundtrack of a video game called Xenoblade Chronicles. In a bit of a mad rush, we managed to have it ready and even qualify for Regional Championships in just over a month! Charell's high score in this short time came to a whopping 77.167%, and she went on to win Region 5 2nd Level Freestyle Champion! Huge congratulations to this pair!
I also made a cheeky edit to my old 2nd level Kingdom Hearts freestyle for HPB Wradiant's (owned by Stephanie Bonney) freestyle debut at 1st level. This clever boy earned himself a season high score of 72.267%!
Musn't forget to give special recognition to Hannah Muckler, who won the Glint Freestyle Award at this year's Dressage at Les Bois show in July. She posted the highest JR/YR average over all three days of competition in regular tests on her Dixieland Delight, and will receive a complete tailored freestyle for free! Well done, you've earned it!
An honourable mention goes to the amazing Anne Buchanan and her Rosette B, who will be debuting their first ever freestyle with some very exciting music from the League of Legends universe this November, and at I1 in an international Small Tour, no less!
