It’s almost Christmas! 🎅🏻🎄🎉 and today I’m all about the positivity. 🌞 So many times I’ve been told I need to change, to fit into that mould that I was clearly not made for. But guess what? We don’t need to change and being neurodivergent can be a gift. 🎁

As it is and I have reached the 15k follower mark - which is absolutely crazy to say! 🎉 I thought I’d share one of my first posts back in 2020 to mark my this. I created this post in the midst of lockdown number 2 - when I had less that 100 followers, never thought it would jump much higher than that. I’m shook!

Anyway before I start going off tangent thanks again for following me, especially durning the times I’ve been off grid! I would definitely not say I have my ADHD fully in check, but you all have helped so much, so thank you for that. 🤗

So anyway before I go too off tangent (so ADHD of me) 😜 I wanted to share a post about all the slurs and throwaway comments us ADHDers receive, starting with the four worse offenders!

A side note this is not a neurotypical lecture, rather a visual representation of all the stresses that come with those rash words that we often hear.👂

Mindfulness is a top notch way to boost your mood, doing meditation whether it’s an hour a week or 5 minutes it will help lift you up. However it is not just that. It’s all about tackling those judgemental thoughts that you have about yourself which are often because of ADHD symptoms. It is safe to say that we often beat ourselves up!
