PERFECT GRACE DEVOTIONAL BY PST IFEYINWA GRACE NDUBUISI💕🌹🌲🎁🔥
DATE: 5th April, 2024 (Day 96)
TOPIC: WONDERS OF HIS GRACE 5
DAILY REFLECTION: Romans 6:6 (NKJV)
ANCHOR VERSE: "Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin"
Christ paid the ultimate price to get us saved. We are no longer slaves to sin. We have to live in this consciousness, sin will not have dominion over us. We have to believe that we can live above sin in all it's multifarious shades. You are redeemed to reign, you are redeemed not to be caged and held bound by sin and it's consequence. The major consequence of sin is death, total separation from God. This is what Christ has redeemed us from and you want to go back? Why do you desire go back to Egypt? The house and place of bo***ge, wretchedness and servitude. A place where one's destiny is stripped off into a mere shadow or substance that can easily be tossed to and fro. Egypt signifies where man's dignity is eroded in the slightest second. Beloved, Christ has set you free, so remain free. Stay in Christ, a land flowing with milk and honey. I don't seem to understand why men will see light and decide to grope in darkness. To reject liberty, where Christ makes free. There is peace and eternal security in God. Nothing compares to it in value. Personally, I like to go for the real deal and that is Jesus Christ and He is love eternal.
POINT TO PONDER: The major consequence of sin is death, total separation from God.
QUESTION TO CONSIDER: Am I still a slave to sin?
ACTION POINT: Resist sin and Satan.
PRAYER: Abba father, it is with a heart of gratitude that I make this prayers; Strengthen me in the inner man not to go back to Egypt. Help me to stay in the liberty where Christ makes free in Jesus name. Amen🙏
