Okay so class data is one thing, the next thing I need to polish is the guild data. Guild names from previous seasons are not case/character sensitive since I was manually inputting them when I was just starting out. Even now, I still have some guild names that are manually encoded. But I'm hoping soon I can polish all these...Doing things little by little 😅

Why so quick this time? ⬅️ As observed in the leaderboard tonight, the class data this week is more inaccurate than before 😫 so I decided to refer from Weeks 1 and 2 lists for the Guild and Class instead of manually extracting based on the current display.

Since we are on Week 3, all inaccuracies are expected to be rectified using the usual crowd-sourced data for the final ranking. Alternatively, you may reach out directly so we can correct it now before Week 4.

Okay this stresses me out now more than ever.

Since I started doing the dashboard, it has been my struggle to record an accurate dataset for the classes. But of course, I know it is harder than it seems on the developers end to actually capture it accurately given the mechanics of the game and the lack of restrictions with regards to class usage. All this time I assumed that what in-game leaderboard does is capture the classes of the rankers at a certain point in time and then whatever it captured implies that the member is in that particular class during the time it was taken. For example, if a ranker finished playing early and decided to do boss hunt at 11 PM, the job that would be reflected in the board may be either RM or STM or whatever is being used in the boss hunt. Or if a ranker went offline grinding immediately after, SH class could be reflected.

However, last week even my closest friends reported inaccuracies in their data. I was thinking how could I miss that out. But since I was so sleepy and tired, I just let it go and assumed that I might have really made a mistake 😅

Tonight as I was recording the classes, I was stunned to see mine reflecting as SAINT. Afaik, I've never switched to SAINT class today, or even this week. This then makes my assumption on how the leaderboard captures the data WRONG. Now I'm less confident in extracting class datasets. 😫 I don't even have any idea how mine became SA. Should I permanently remove that part in my dashboard? 😞 Before I was thinking it could be at least 80-90% accurate. Now I'm not even sure 🙃

On the other side of things, now I can truly prove to you guys that the class data accuracy is really out of my control. 🥲🙇🏼‍♀️

To my OG inspiration in MP — the reason why I wanted to be in the ranks and have a border, finally we will be playing the same class this season. I don't know about you guys but as a CM main for the past seasons, it breaks my heart to see it be *almost* dethroned in the top 6 meta classes. 🥹

Even I myself had to switch to RG just so I'll fit in parties who are looking for members. I guess this is what they say about being willing to accept change and adapting to a very dynamic and competitive environment. Sometimes you just have to let go of the things that you got used to or loved.

Never in my MP life did I imagine finishing Week 4 with only just two games. Here's a POV of mine during our last battles for the border.

We would like to inform you that League of Rankers will not be pushing through this time due to insufficient number of participating teams.

In behalf of KOC community, I'd like to express my gratitude to those who have shown their support for this tournament. My assistance will always be available and ready for any event that you might want to happen in the future.

Participants must play a minimum of 3 Match Sets from July 1 up to August 31, 2023 via M2H PVP or RO:M PVP Wolf Arena to be able to join the tournament.
