We’re looking for a talented and versatile Social Media Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative individual who excels in both copywriting and social media management. As a Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling written content across multiple platforms and driving engagement through strategic social media initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Write captivating copy for social media posts ensuring consistency in tone and messaging.
• Create and maintain content calendars, schedule posts and coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Manage all aspects of social media channels, including but not limited to content creation, community engagement, audience growth, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns and promotions that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
• Monitor trends and insights in social media and content marketing, staying updated on industry best practices and emerging platforms to continuously optimize strategies.
• Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to track the effectiveness of content and social media efforts, using insights to refine strategies and improve results.
• Stay updated on industry trends and news across maritime, healthcare, arts, and hospitality through thorough research.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Proven experience in copywriting, content creation, and social media management, preferably in a marketing or digital agency environment.
• IMPECCABLE writing skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and creativity.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed decisions and optimizations.
If you're passionate about storytelling, have a knack for crafting compelling copy, and thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
For now, the role is part-time. However, if the candidate demonstrates the ability to take on additional responsibilities, and as we continue to grow, there is strong potential for it to become full-time. The position is remote, but we’d love to hire local candidates (based in Boerne, TX and New Orleans, LA) to support our local economies.
