February is here so it might be time to start planing your Potatoes.
here are some tips.
Choose a location that receives full sun and has well-drained soil. Potatoes prefer a slightly acidic to neutral pH of around 6.0-7.0.

Purchase seed potatoes, which are potatoes that have been specifically grown for planting. Cut them into chunks with at least one "eye" on each piece, making sure that each piece has at least one good bud.

Allow the cut potatoes to dry out for a few days, this will help prevent rotting.

Prepare the soil by removing any rocks or debris and working in some organic matter such as compost or aged manure.

Plant the seed potatoes about 4-6 inches deep, and about 12-18 inches apart.

Water the soil thoroughly after planting and keep it consistently moist.

As the potato plants grow, mound soil up around the stems to keep the developing tubers covered.

Potatoes take about 60-90 days to mature, depending on the variety.

Water the seeds thoroughly after planting, and keep the soil consistently moist until germination.

Once the seedlings have emerged, thin them out to about 4-6 inches apart.
