🍽️ Meat Theory, Banani

Meat Theory is a popular place for a reason — it serves amazing steaks at worthwhile price points. I’ve had nearly all of their menu items but this is one of my favorite orders and underrated one.

📌 Memphis Ribs 500gm+ (2680BDT++)

This is a wonderful table top order. The 500gm short ribs is marinated for 4 hours and they walk you through the entire process. The first bite of delicious cheese and perfectly cooked, tender meat is the kind of experience you need to have at least once. The flavors complement each other perfectly - I wasn’t sure about the amount of cheese initially but it was such amazing quality I appreciated every bit of it.

They told me this was 1:1 but we shared it 2:2. It would be advisable to order something else or an appetizer if you’re unsure about sharing. So worth it!

One of the most interesting meals I’ve had in my life because I tried so many new things in such a great ambience.

📌 Bone Marrow (1000BDT ++)

I’m definitely glad I ordered this at least once as it was something I was curious about for so long - however I’m not sure if I would reorder it again. The consistency is as you would expect, similar to our traditional marrow dish, but prepared in a way that’s a lot more convenient to eat neatly.
However, it was admittedly bland and we all needed the extra salt to finish it. It’s worth a try but not something I would have again.

📌 Scallop Mushroom Duxelles (2000BDT++)

This was delicious and truly unique. We shared it amongst 3 and there was still a lot of quantity so that’s something to keep in mind. The scallops had a delicate and distinct flavor, buttery and slightly sweet, with a tender texture. The toast and mushroom duxelles were the perfect addition.

📌 Shakshuka (1000BDT++)

I was truly very excited about this but it fell short of my expectations. It was not bad, it was just alright because all of the items had the same monotonous flavor of tomatoes and nothing else. Even though this is such a hyped item, there was no wow factor to it.

If you’re a group of 3 with good taste in sushi, this should be your next stop. This Fusion Boat is 3195BDT++ and has the perfect sharing portion for 3 people. The best part is that it has some of their best fusion rolls, like Ebi Meets Sake, Streaks of Red, Lava Rolls etc! Perfect for a group meal and my go-to order with my besties 🍽️
