July 14 is recognized around the world as International Non-Binary People’s Day. This occasion shines a light on those who identify as non-binary and celebrates the rich diversity of the community.
The term “non-binary” describes someone who does not identify exclusively as a man or a woman. Non-binary folks may identify as being both a man and a woman or as falling completely outside these categories. Many non-binary people also identify as transgender, though not all do.
We’re gearing up for our Pride event in November and we need your help!! We’re putting out the call for volunteers for event planning, outreach, marketing and all other facets of the organization. We also need VENDORS for our Pride event. If you’re a maker, artist, LGBTQ+ friendly business or non-profit, WE WANT YOU! And as always, please participate by sharing our events, signing up to march in our parade and attending our general meetings virtually at 6 PM the third Wednesday of every month!

A tragic day in American history–Sunday, June 12, 2016–when 49 Angels were taken, the 68 others who were injured. The Pulse Nightclub shooting shook the community. It hit home for many of us and is a reminder what we still need to work on as a nation. Our hate issue with others.
