Spaghetti with Garlic and Oil
With just a couple ingredients and just minutes from prep to table this recipe is so delicious.
You’ll only need-
•1 lb-spaghetti
•1/2-cup Extra virgin olive oil
•8-garlic cloves sliced
•1/2-tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
•a little chopped parsley
•pasta water
•1-tsp salt
1-bring a pot of salted water to boil.
2-add the olive oil, salt, garlic, red pepper to a skillet large enough to hold the finished dish. Put the heat to low sauté for 5 minutes until the garlic releases their aroma and turns golden but do not burn the garlic.
3-remove the skillet from the heat and add 2 tablespoons of water to the skillet this will stop the garlic from cooking
4-cook the spaghetti according to the directions
5-remove 1 cup of pasta water but only add 1/4 cup to the skillet put the heat to medium strain the pasta add it to the skillet toss this all together for a minute, add more pasta water if needed
6-toss in the parsley
