Before Deion and Shadeur, father and son Doug and DJ Williams won the 2011 SWAC Football Championship. Doug Sr. has the distinction of winning SWAC titles as a player (3) and coach (4). Williams also won six Black College National Championships, three as a player and three as a coach. To win the conference title with your son is rare.
