Talk about eyes in the back of your head!

Today your favorite weirdos are blurring the lines between real and fake, with the legend of Edward Mordrake. A British urban legend, Mordrake was said to be a dashingly handsome nobleman, who just happened to have one very distinguishing feature; a face on the back of his head that could cry, smile, laugh, and supposedly whisper to him.

Mordrake, while probably not a real person, may have been inspired by real life cases of conjoined twins throughout history. Today we're diving into the legend and some of the confirmed real life historical conjoined twins!

It is true crime time again! This week we are covering The Grandfather of Gore, The Plainfield Ghoul, The Butcher of Plainfield himself, Ed Gein!

The monster who's real life exploits inspired some of the horror genre's most iconic killers, Ed was just a normal, if slightly slower local in Plainsfield, Wisconsin, until his gruesome crimes were discovered.

Raised by an overbearing, religious mother, her death sparked a compulsion in Ed to attempt to "become" her through graverobbing and murder.

An eccentric weirdo since birth, JD has always had a love for all things strange and macabre, as well as a love for storytelling and entertaining.

JD brings a fun vibe to some of the weirdest tales ever told, aliens, killers, cryptids, strange history, and everything in between!

Bethany Marshall
Born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia, Bethany Marshall grew up hearing about strange and unexplained things, and for the most part thought they were just stories.

That is, until the night she experienced her own unexplained event, which led her down rabbit hole after rabbit hole of unexplained phenomena happening all over the world!

During the quarantines of 2020, she kept herself sane by feeding her hunger for researching weird and strange happenings, and hasn’t looked back!

Ashley Shew
Born and raised in SMALL town southcentral Pennsylvania, Ashley has never had time for the narrowminded. With witty and dry humor most people find her either intimidating or funny. Either way works just fine. She finds it super fun to use that humor to say what is really on her mind while others think it is a joke. Is that how she really feels or no? You figure it out because she isn’t telling.

With dreads and tattoos most like to look and judge without talking, but if they would try, they would find a relatively normal mom of 4 who is into art, movies, and dry humor. There is also a mix of weird off the cuff trivia knowledge and an openminded curiosity in all things supernatural, mystical, metaphysical and taboo.

She is currently on a journey to embrace and learn about all things weird. Learning and finding new things and people are the joy in life and keep things interesting. If we were all the same, what fun would that be! Here is to finding love and light along the way.
