The Oconee River at Milledgeville peaked at 28.75 feet last night and is now receding. It currently sits at 26.47 feet which is in the MINOR FLOOD STAGE category which includes minor flooding of low lying areas including the Riverwalk areas. The river is expected to return to normal levels by tomorrow.
